Overview: Paper prototyping is a variation of usability testing where users perform tasks by interacting with a paper version of the interface that is manipulated by a person ‘playing computer.’ It is a user center design method useful in the early phases of design because it is easy and inexpensive to modify a paper interface between testing participants.
